Спазването на гражданските права е необходимо условие за европейската интеграция на Западните Балкани
Respect for civil rights is a prerequisite for European integration of Western Balkans

Bulgarian MEP from the EPP Hope Neynski meeting with Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Stefan Fyule in Strasbourg.

The main topics of conversation were: EU enlargement to Western Balkans, the pace of political and economic reforms as well as tools for solving the remaining problems on the road to integration for the region.

During the meeting Neynski Hope raised again the question of the still frequent violations of the rights of citizens with Bulgarian self-consciousness in Macedonia. MEP cited the case of Miroslav character Rezina, who was sentenced to three and a half years imprisonment for Bulgarian citizenship and announced significant patriotic activities.
